It’s a long-running joke that whenever couples get married, the sex stops. Add kids into the mix and you’re lucky if you’re getting lucky once a month. That’s the premise of the new romantic comedy “Friends With Kids” out Friday.

The plot revolves around pals Jason (Adam Scott) and Julie (Jennifer Westfeldt), who decide to have a kid and commit to care for the child 100 percent—while dating other people. With a cast including Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph playing their married friends, you can bet this film is more comedy than romance.

MTV News caught up with Adam Scott and Megan Fox, both married, to talk about the upcoming film and what aspect of being single they miss.

“Other than all the f—ing?” Adam jokingly asked.

And though presumably used to all the hilarious comments on set, Megan couldn’t help but laugh and fan her face at the racy joke. Her character, Mary Jane, is the woman Jason starts dating while he goes through the changes brought by parenting—rather smoothly, it seems, to his friends’ surprise. But all jokes aside, Adam insisted there’s nothing he misses about being single.

“I actually find being with one person to be far more interesting and fun than the other way around,” he continued. “That may just be me and my personality, but I find [one person] much easier to handle and deal with.” To get himself off the hot seat, he quickly threw the question to his co-star.

Josh warned Megan to “choose her words carefully” as her husband was in the room, but the starlet was already agreeing. “I mean, if you marry the right person. I feel like I’m with my best friend,” she said about husband Brian Austin Green. “I’ve been with him for so long so it feels natural and comfortable.”
